Siddharth Bank honored with ‘Best Annual Financial Report 2021’ award

KATHMANDU: Siddharth Bank Limited has been honored with the ‘Best Annual Financial Report 2021’ award in the banking sector.
Based on the annual report published in the fiscal year 2020/21, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) has given the organization an award for financial transparency, accountability, and good governance.
The award was presented to Sunder Prasad Kadel, Chief Executive Officer of Siddharth Bank, by Controller General Sumanraj Aryal and ICAN President Yuddh Raj Oli at a ceremony held on Friday at the Everest Hotel in Kathmandu.
According to the bank, this award has encouraged it to publish more refined financial statements in the coming days.
The bank’s awarded annual report will also compete for the ‘Best Annual Report’ award, which is organized at the South Asian level by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
The bank has been providing high-quality and technology-friendly banking services through 190 branches (including 4 extension counters), 117 branchless banking services, and more than 2,000 POS machines across the country with the goal of providing access to banking services to all sectors and classes.
Furthermore, the bank claims to have been providing various banking services in a simple and customer-friendly manner, such as opening savings, term, and demat accounts, applying for debit and credit cards, and emphasizing the importance of digital means in its service operations.
