KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on Janardhan Sharma continues to meet today.

The Parliamentary Inquiry Committee will meet to investigate former Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma, who was accused of allowing unauthorized people into the budget.

As the CCTV footage from the Ministry of Finance has yet to be received, the investigating committee has decided to request footage from the Singha Durbar gate.

After then-Finance Minister Sharma was accused of changing tax rates by calling the Ministry of Finance at night among unauthorized persons while preparing the 2079/080 budget, an 11-member parliamentary special investigation committee was formed.

Former Finance Minister Sharma resigned as Finance Minister following the formation of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee.
