Unity must in development works: Energy Minister Bhusal
Minister Bhusal emphasized that the park built for the convenience of Thecho residents should be properly protected and utilized.
KATHMANDU: Pampha Bhusal, Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, has called for unity in the country’s development work.
She stated today at the inauguration ceremony of ‘Pako Park’ in Lalitpur’s Godawari Municipality Ward No. 12 Thecho that because development is a continuous process, everyone’s support is required.
Even though we ask for votes in the names of various parties during the election, she believes that we must speak with one voice in development work. She also expressed her belief that the park built on public land will aid in the development of the local people’s lifestyle.
Minister Bhusal emphasized that the park built for the convenience of Thecho residents should be properly protected and utilized, and that local residents are responsible for both the proper protection and enjoyment of this park.”
The park, which cost more than Rs 7.5 million to build, also includes exercise equipment for visitors.
Bagmati Provincial Assembly member Rajkaji Maharjan stated on the occasion that the park was built to be suitable for physical exercise and for children. He stated that appropriate CCTV and lighting arrangements will be made so that the park can be used 24 hours a day.
