Nobel provides free heart & lung disease treatment to Biratchowk senior citizens
Elderly people over the age of 60 were tested and treated for heart and lung diseases at the camp.
BIRATNAGAR: Nobel Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar held a heart and lung disease camp at Biratchowk in Morang’s Sundarharaincha Municipality-9 on Thursday.
Nobel held a free health camp and treated senior citizens’ heart and lung diseases in collaboration with the local Senior Citizen Unity Society.
Elderly people over the age of 60 were tested and treated for heart and lung diseases at the camp. A team of doctors led by Nobel Hospital cardiologist Dr. Rajesh Nepal examined the health of 166 senior citizens.
Similarly, 117 people were subjected to an echo examination. Narayan Dahal, the manager of Nobel Hospital, informed that 44 senior citizens who were unable to be treated in the camp due to complex issues had been referred to the hospital.
Arrangements have been made for the referred patients to be taken to the hospital by Nobel’s bus and taken home after receiving free treatment.
Nobel Hospital has been holding free health clinics in rural areas for low-income patients. Lakhs of patients have benefited as a result of this.
This place belongs to area number 3 of Morang. Where Dr. Sunil Sharma, who is also the operator of Nobel Hospital, became a candidate on behalf of the Nepali Congress in the last House of Representatives election.
Bhanubhakta Dhakal, a CPN-UML candidate, defeated him. Despite his defeat, he remains committed to serving the people.
Previously, Nobel treated 170 senior citizens for heart and lung diseases at a free health camp in Morang’s Bayarban Rural Municipality-6.
Nobel stated that similar camps will be held in the municipalities of Pathari Shanishchare and Belbari. Furthermore, two teams of Nobel health workers have been mobilized in Area 3 and are providing free health services on a regular basis.
