KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is releasing the monetary policy of Nepal on Friday.

According to the National Bank, monetary policy is the policy developed by the country’s central bank to promote economic growth while maintaining macroeconomic stability.

Through the management of the money supply, credit, and interest rates, monetary policy aims to support economic growth and job creation while maintaining economic stability.

Monetary policy contributes to the achievement of macroeconomic goals by maintaining economic regulation and balance through measures such as monetary management, interest rate management, financial sector strengthening, payment system strengthening, foreign exchange management, and financial access.

Monetary policy is the policy adopted by a country’s central bank in relation to the demand and supply of the country’s economy in order to control inflation and maintain monetary stability.

Monetary policy is the central bank’s policy of adjusting prices, income, and employment levels in the economy in order to conduct economic and commercial activities in an orderly manner.

Since the promulgation of the Nepal Reserve Bank Act in 2058, the NRB has published monetary policy in accordance with the budget every year as soon as the government passes the budget.
