All-party meeting begins to discuss the name of State 1

BIRATNAGAR: The all-party meeting to decide on the name of State 1 has begun. On the invitation of Speaker Pradeep Kumar Bhandari, the all-party meeting began at the state assembly building.

The meeting is attended by leaders from the CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, United Socialists, JSP, Federal Democratic National Forum, and RPP Parliamentary Party.

The meeting is also attended by Speaker Pradeep Kumar Bhandari, Deputy Speaker Saraswati Pokharel, Chief Minister Rajendra Kumar Rai, and ministers.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will decide whether or not to include the name in the current session of the state assembly.
