Board of Directors meeting before monetary policy is introduced

KATHMANDU: Today, Friday, the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) will publish its monetary policy for the fiscal year 079-80.

Prior to that, the NRB Board of Directors will vote on monetary policy at 8 a.m. today.

NRB spokesperson Gunakar Bhatta said that the meeting of the board of directors was called on Friday morning.

According to him, monetary policy will most likely be announced on Friday. Governor Adhikari has already briefed Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on monetary policy, who also holds the Ministry of Finance.
