Change across the country, chances of heavy rain in these areas

KATHMANDU: Currently, it is raining in some parts of the country, while the weather has changed in many places.

This morning, there is light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas and a couple of other places.

The Department of Water and Meteorology predicts that there will be normal to complete change in the country’s hilly areas this afternoon. The rest of the country will see light to moderate rain.

According to the department, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible in some hilly areas of the country and in a few other areas.

Across the country, skies will be partly to partly cloudy tonight. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country’s hilly areas and a few other places. Heavy rain is possible in one or two areas of Gandaki, Bagmati, and State 1.

In mountainous areas, there is a risk of soil erosion, landslides, and gegran drift. As the water level in rivers, canals, and khahare rivers may rise, affecting people’s daily lives, the department advises them to take general precautions.
