Heatwave in Spain kills 679 people in a week

MADRID: Due to the heat wave, 679 people died in Spain in one week. According to the Spanish Ministry of Health, 679 people died in this city between July 10 and July 17.

According to the Ministry of Health, 169 people died as a result of the hot air on July 17 alone. According to a health organization here, the hot air killed the most senior citizens.

According to the research conducted by that organization, 430 of the 679 people who died here up until Wednesday were citizens over the age of 85.

The temperature is said to have reached 45 degrees Celsius in various parts of the country, and the process of people dying from heat has not stopped.

The heat is expected to rise further, according to local health officials. According to them, the number of deaths caused by hot air could rise even further.
