KATHMANDU: Students from the ruling party demonstrated in Baluwatar, calling for the resignation of Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.
The students claimed that the governor officer of Rastra Bank is a member of the CPN-finance UML’s and planning commission.
The police quickly removed the banner after it was erected. According to student leaders, there was a symbolic protest today, and if the resignation is not accepted, the protest may become more serious. The Nepal Student Union, ANNFSU (revolutionary), and ANNFSU announced the protest program in a press release on Tuesday.
Earlier that day, on July 1, Nepal Student Union and ANNISU (revolutionaries) held a protest in the Baluwatar area.
