Chance of flooding in these rivers today, urge to be vigilant
The flow in the tributaries flowing through the lowlands of West Rapti and Babai will increase significantly.

KATHMANDU: The flow of water in some of the country’s rivers is expected to significantly increase.
According to the Department of Water and Meteorology’s Flood Forecasting Division, the flow in the Mahakali and West Seti rivers, as well as their tributaries, will increase significantly today. According to the department, the flow in some other rivers will normal increase.
According to the division, the flow in the tributaries flowing through the lowlands of West Rapti and Babai will increase significantly, as will the sudden flow, which may reach the alert area in some of them.
Small rivers flowing through Banke, Bardia, and Kailali, as well as those living in low areas that are frequently inundated, have been asked to remain vigilant today.
