CM Pokharel tests positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel, the Chief Minister of Gandaki State, has been diagnosed with COVID-19. When he had a PCR test on Tuesday, he was confirmed to have COVID-19.

Pokharel had been suffering from a common cold since Sunday and fever since Monday morning. He consulted the doctor on Monday and the swab was collected on Tuesday morning.

The test results were only received on Tuesday evening. Although he has a mild fever now, his oxygen level and chest condition are normal, according to the doctor. He is currently resting at the Pokhara government residence.

He advised using masks, sanitizers, and maintaining social distance in the event of an increase in COVID-19 infection.
