Four RPP leaders abandon the party, accused of imposing totalitarianism
They have stated that internal democracy within the RPP has been destroyed, totalitarianism and arrogance have flourished, and the rule of law is being flouted.
KATHMANDU: Four RPP leaders have announced their departure from the party.
Among those who have announced their departure from the party are Dilnath Giri, Shyam Timalsina, Keshav Raj Shrestha, and Dil Bikas Rajbhandari.
They issued a joint statement on Tuesday, announcing that they had left the party and would no longer be an ordinary member of the RPP.
They have stated that internal democracy within the RPP has been destroyed, totalitarianism and arrogance have flourished, and the rule of law is being flouted.
“Since internal democracy in the RPP has been torn apart, totalitarianism and arrogance have flourished, and the rule of law has been flouted, we are not in a position to stay within the party being humiliated and innocent,” the leaders said in a statement.
The party had previously requested an explanation.
