KATHMANDU: Neco Insurance has launched an agricultural campaign. The company has announced that it will provide agricultural insurance to farmers by visiting their homes.
During a Sunday program, the company launched an agricultural campaign with the slogan “Neco’s Campaign to Contribute to Agriculture.” Surya Prasad Silwal, Chairperson of the Insurance Committee, has officially launched the program.
According to the company’s CEO, Ashok Kumar Khadka, the insurance company launched this campaign to protect farmers from unexpected losses in their investments.
He stated that the lack of interest in agricultural insurance is due to farmers not understanding or being able to explain it, which is why this campaign was launched to protect farmers’ risks when they suffer such losses.
