K. L. Dugar Group launched Gyan Makhana

KATHMANDU: Gyan Makhana, a new Gyan brand product, has been launched in Nepal by K.L. Dugar Group.

Other popular products from the K. L. Dugar Group include Gyan Bhog Chakki Atta and Gyan Maida.

Makhana is a superfood derived from the seeds of the Prickly Water Lily. It is high in protein and contains numerous other nutritional benefits.

Makhana is typically consumed while fasting, but it can also be consumed on a daily basis as a healthy snack.

This wholesome and delicious snack can be lightly roasted or eaten raw. It can also be used to make a variety of savory and sweet dishes, such as kheer (rice pudding).

Gyan Makhana is sold in 200g packets at a variety of department stores and local grocery stores.
