KATHMANDU: Two movie posters for ‘Ma’ have been released. The poster was made public on the Kantipur Film Academy’s Facebook page.

A 1-minute teaser was released a few days ago by the production team. According to the teaser, a criminal is admitted to the hospital as a patient and then executes a large plan, and it can be assumed that all of the characters must figure out who he is, what he does, and why he does it.
According to the one-minute teaser and poster, Nisha Adhikari is a doctor, Rubina Thapa is a nurse, Nirajan Pradhan is a cop, and Naren Khadka is a gangster. Saroj Khanal, Sabin Shrestha, Sarita Lamichhane, and Poonam Shrestha are among the other characters seen in the teaser and poster, but their identities are unknown.
According to the teaser, most of the movie’s scenes were shot in the same hospital. As a result, the poster that has been made public is also in a blue tone, with the hospital setting in the background and the reflections of all the characters kept in the shadows. Rakesh Dahal’s poster has been seen in a slightly different style than the poster for the recent movie.
It has been revealed that the suspense movie was made with a slightly different story than the one seen in the poster of Me, which has been made public in two sizes, landscape and portrait.
Subarna Thapa directed the film; his previous film, Sungabha, was critically acclaimed, and his other film, Radha, will be screened beginning on August 26. Tenzing Palden is the film’s cinematographer, Banish Shah is the editor, Bimala Humagain and Padam Puri are the producers, and Prakash Puri, the CEO of Kantipur Film Academy, is the writer and creative producer.
The movie Ma, produced by Kantipur Cinemas and Kantipur Film Academy, will be on display beginning August 5. The movie’s official trailer will be released in the first week of Shrawan (July/August), according to the production team.
As it is a film produced by a filmmaking school, the subject and storytelling of the film may be something new. This is Nepal’s first feature film produced by Film College.
