Citizenship Bill is being presented to Parliament for decision

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is being held today. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 1 pm.

The 11th Convention’s 41st meeting is about to begin. The meeting will take place at New Baneshwor’s Federal Parliament Building.

The discussion on the proposal to consider the ‘Nepal Citizenship (First Amendment) Bill, 2079’ will continue at today’s meeting.

Similarly, Speaker of the House Agni Prasad Sapkota informed the Secretary of the House of Representatives Gopal Nath Yogi that there is a possible agenda to present for the construction the proposal that ‘Nepal Citizenship (First Amendment) Bill, 2079 should be considered.’
