Najir Husen signed on for the movie ‘Gulabi’ to be directed by Samundra Bhatta

KATHMANDU: The movie ‘Gulabi’ is going to be made on the story of a transgender group.
Najir Husen has been cast in the lead role in the film directed and produced by Samundra Bhatta.
The production company The Sky Ocean Entertainment and actor Husen have signed a contract. Najir is portraying a transgender person, and the search is on for his pair.
According to Bhatta, who is also the treasurer of the Film Directors’ Society, “I am directing and producing films to convey the message that our Nepali society’s attitude toward the third gender community should change and be positive. It is critical to treat them humanely.” The construction crew is currently hard at work.
Auditions for actors other than Najir have begun for the movie, which will begin filming on September 6. Bishal Pahari has also been cast in another significant role.
