Deputy Speaker Election: UML’s Bidya Bhattarai registers nomination

KATHMANDU: MP Bidya Bhattarai of the main opposition party CPN (UML) has also registered her nomination for the post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).

She filed the nomination with the backing of UML MP Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel and on the recommendation of MP Shanta Chaudhary.

Earlier, Nepali Congress MP Pushpa Bhusal registered the alliance’s nomination.
