Election process of Deputy Speaker begins, Pushpa Bhusal registering nomination on behalf of coalition [Photos]

KATHMANDU: The election process of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) begins.

Registration has already begun, according to the Parliament Secretariat. According to the secretariat, registration will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The list of candidates will be published at 1.30 p.m. today, following the nomination. Voting will begin at 3 p.m. tomorrow.

The post has been vacant for about three years, following the resignation of then-Deputy Speaker Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe.

Pushpa Bhusal of Congress has decided to register the nomination on behalf of the ruling coalition. She has arrived.
