Fire ignited again in Bhrikuti Mandap

KATHMANDU: The fire that broke out in the Social Welfare Council’s store at Bhrikuti Mandap on Wednesday has started again. The police are attempting to put out the fire that began early this morning.

The fire did not cause any major damage, according to Kathmandu Valley Police Office Spokesperson Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh Rathore. At around 6.30 a.m., smoke could be seen coming from the location where the fire began.

Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force are currently on the scene. Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s fire brigades and a water tractor are being used to extinguish the fire.
