Publication of Deputy Speaker’s election schedule

KATHMANDU: The election schedule for the vacant post of House Deputy Speaker has been published.

In today’s meeting, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota fixed the date of the election and directed the Secretary of the House of Representatives (HoR), Gopal Nath Yogi, to publish the schedule in accordance with Article 91 of the Nepalese Constitution and Rule 8 of the Rules of the HoR, 2075 BS.

According to Secretary Yogi’s information, candidates will be registered at the International Conference Center’s Lhotse Hall on Thursday, July 14 from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m., the list of registered candidates will be published at 1:30 p.m., and the election will be held on Friday at 3 p.m.
