Manang declared fully-vaccinated district

KATHMANDU: The country’s mountainous district of Manang has been declared fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Baburam Acharya, Chief of the Health Office, stated that Manang has been declared fully vaccinated after the children of the specified age group were vaccinated.

Chin Ghale, Chief of the District Coordination Committee, emphasized the importance of paying attention to implementation as the announcement alone is not significant.

“Manang must commit to ensuring the long-term viability of the entire vaccination campaign,” Ghale said.
