These issues discussed between CPC leader Liu & Oli discuss the issue (with video)

KATHMANDU: Liu Jianchao, Foreign Minister of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the CPN (UML), met in Nepal during his visit. On Tuesday afternoon, they met at Oli’s residence Balkot.

According to leader Rajan Bhattarai, Liu stated that Nepal was and would continue to be a close friend of China and a partner in Nepal’s development and that Oli had always been committed to the one-China policy.

He quoted Oli and said, “Nepal does not engage in anti-China activities. Our party has always been dedicated to this.”

Liu will hold talks with President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday.

He had previously met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ and Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka.
