Accused arrested for stabbing youth in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: One person has been arrested for stabbing a youth in the district’s Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-5.

Dipesh Shakya, 27, of Tatopani Municipality-4 in Sindhupalchowk, was arrested, according to police.

On July 9, he stabbed Rajan Shrestha, 25, of Sindhupalchowk, Sangachowkgadhi in Thali, according to police.

A knife has also been recovered from him.

The investigation into Shakya has been extended for four days by the district court in Kathmandu.
