Government declares public holiday on July 17

KATHMANDU: The Karnali state government has decided to grant public leave on July 17.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Planning issued a notice on Tuesday stating that the holiday would be granted.

The holiday will be observed on the occasion of the Sankranti and Deuda festivals on Sunday, according to the ministry.

A meeting of the Karnali State Government’s Council of Ministers held on 2078/12/29 (12 April 2022) decided to grant leave on July 17.

All government and public organizations in Karnali will be closed on the day of the holiday.
