Teenager stabbed to death while sleeping

KATHMANDU: One person was stabbed to death in Ramdhuni, Sunsari district. A 17-year-old local has been arrested on the charge of fatally stabbing a 16-year-old boy in Ramdhuni Municipality-6.

According to police, a 17-year-old Kishor stabbed Chandra Sada’s 16-year-old son Bivek Sada in the abdomen while he was sleeping at home this morning. At 8 a.m., he died from his injuries at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

According to the Area Police Office in Pakali, the boy involved in the incident has been arrested, as has the knife used in the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
