KATHMANDU: Kamal Thapa, chairperson of the RPP Nepal, has warned that the people’s patience may be broken. He cited the example of Sri Lanka on social media.
He has hinted that the rise of totalitarianism will be unacceptable to the people. “Sri Lanka is the latest example of corruption, high prices, economic crisis, and totalitarianism testing the patience of the people,” Thapa said.
He also claimed that totalitarianism has flourished in Nepal under the guise of democracy in recent years. “Under the guise of democracy, totalitarianism, extreme corruption, unemployment, conversion, and foreign interference have been rampant in Nepal for the past few years,” Thapa added. “Political parties and leaders must be vigilant at all times.”
