Heavy rainfall predicted in some parts
The Department has urged all to adopt necessary precautionary measures for safety in view of rising in the water level in rivers and rivulets.
KATHMANDU: Heavy rainfall is likely to take place in some parts of the country with partial to complete changes in weather conditions across the country.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is high chance of heavy rainfall in some places of the State 1 and Bagmati along with limited parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim due to the effects of monsoon wind.
Likewise, light to medium rain with thunder and lightning is predicted in several areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim and in some areas in the remaining States.
With a high chance of heavy rainfall in some areas of State 1 and Madhesh and in 1-2 areas in the remaining States, there is a likelihood of soil erosion and landslide in mountainous parts.
