In Pictures: Royalists celebrating birth anniversary of former king

KATHMANDU: Various royalist organizations, including the Nepali Party for Nepal, the Royal Youth Force Nepal, independent nationalists, and independent activists seeking a monarchy in Nepal, commemorated former King Gyanendra Shah’s birth anniversary.

They also held a rally in Kathmandu on Thursday to commemorate the 76th birthday of former King Gyanendra.

The rally began at Bhrikuti Mandap and ended at Narayanhiti. At the rally, participants even chanted pro-King slogans.

According to his private secretariat, former King Gyanendra Shah is currently in Thailand on a private visit.
