Meeting adjourned for one hour due to 125-member Politburo controversy presented by Prachanda

KATHMANDU: The 125-member Politburo Bureau proposed at the Central Committee meeting by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ could not be approved.

The leaders disagreed on the names, claiming that members were chosen without regard for criteria. “Many comrades have said that members were selected without criteria,” a central member said. That’s exactly what I’m saying.

Following this, the meeting was adjourned for one hour. He stated that their demand would remain unchanged in the one-hour meeting.

Prachanda’s family consists of four members. Members include Prachanda’s daughter Renu Dahal, daughter-in-law Bina Magar, and brother Narayan Dahal.
