Two people killed in separate accidents
Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU: Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Kathmandu. Last night, a motorcycle overturned in Khulaltar, Shankharapur Municipality-9, killing the motorist.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Deepak KC, 45. At 9 a.m. last night, KC’s motorcycle (Ba 58 Pa 6550) was heading towards Indrayani from Sankhu when it lost control and overturned. He died while receiving treatment at Nepal Medical College in Jorpati’s Attarkhel.
Last night, a scooter collided with a road divider in Sanobharyang, Kathmandu, killing one person. Arjun Lohani, 35, of Chitwan, has been identified as the deceased. At around 2.15 a.m. last night, a scooter (Ba 95 Pa 9723) heading from Banasthali to Swayambhu collided with a road divider. Lohani died as a result of his injuries while being treated at Manmohan Hospital.
