KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma announced his resignation, saying he had done nothing wrong and was stepping down to help with the investigation.
Sharma told reporters at Parliament House that the truth should be brought to the people’s attention as soon as possible.
He stated that his confidence will be clear once the investigation committee’s report is released.
He stated that when developing the budget, he adhered to the established values.
