UML boycotted parliament after allowing the finance minister to speak

KATHMANDU: The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, has boycotted the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).

After Finance Minister Jarnadan Sharma was allowed to speak in parliament, the UML boycotted the meeting.

In the meantime, a special parliamentary inquiry committee has been established to investigate Finance Minister Sharma.

Following the formation of the committee, the UML stated that Sharma would not be permitted to speak as finance minister.
