KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has not started yet. The meeting scheduled for 2 pm has not started yet.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., but the Federal Parliament Secretariat previously stated that it would begin at 2 p.m. But the meeting has not started yet.

The meeting is being presided over by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota. The meeting is discussing the resolution of questions raised by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’.

It was agreed during the discussion to form a parliamentary committee to investigate Finance Minister Sharma. Despite the agreement, there is disagreement over the number of committee members and which party will lead.

The main opposition party, the CPN (UML), has claimed that it should lead the committee. The UML believes that members of the committee should be appointed based on the number of members to be represented in the House of Representatives (HoR) and that they should be given responsibility.
