NC’s two vice presidents stated – Finance minister should be investigated

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma should be investigated, according to Nepali Congress Vice Presidents Dhanraj Gurung and Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Vice President Gurung stated on social media on Wednesday that the Finance Minister should be investigated for ‘introducing middlemen’ during budget preparation.

“Those who commit unconstitutional acts are being watched by CCTV cameras,” he explained. The general public should be able to see it.

2. Resigns to assist the investigation committee
3. Dismissed! ‘

Similarly, Vice President Khadka has called for the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee into the ‘Finance Minister’s case.’

Previously, Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa stated that Finance Minister Sharma should resign, and that if he does not, the Prime Minister should fire him.

The finance minister has been accused of admitting unauthorized personnel to the ministry and of manipulating tax rates during budget preparation.
