Young man found dead on school roof, one arrested
To investigate the incident, police arrested a young man who was with him.
KATHMANDU: A young man was found dead on the roof of a school in Kanchanpur. Police said Prem Singh Dhami, 22, of Haldukhal in Ward No. 7, was discovered dead on the two-story roof of Golden Bridge Boarding School in Aithpur, Bhimdatta Municipality-6.
To investigate the incident, police arrested a young man who was with him. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chakra Shah, the District Police Office’s spokesperson, stated that another youth who was sleeping on the roof with him was arrested in connection with the investigation. They are both drug abusers, he claims.
During the preliminary investigation, both of them went to the school’s roof, claiming that they would rest after drinking beer and consuming drugs. His friend, who was arrested after Dhami’s death, had reported the incident to the police.
