‘As long as Janardhan Sharma is a minister, I will not return to the ministry’

KATHMANDU: The Finance Secretary is on leave while the finance minister is involved in the dispute.

Madhu Kumar Marasini, the Finance Secretary, has been placed on leave indefinitely.

According to sources, in the morning, Finance Secretary Marasini met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, and Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi and was made to stay on leave.

He has stated that he will not return to the ministry while Janardhan Sharma is in charge.
