KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has written a letter to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies requesting that the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) be paid.

The corporation has drawn attention to the fact that if the arrears are not paid, the supply of petroleum will be cut off.

The corporation is currently required to pay Rs 30 billion to the IOC. The supply will be cut off if the amount is not paid.

This fiscal year, the corporation’s deficit is expected to exceed Rs 53 billion.
