NEPSE fell by 9 points, turnover above Rs 4 billion

KATHMANDU: The stock market fell slightly on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

On this day, the NEPSE index fell 9.75 points to 2076.67. However, the transaction amount and number of shares traded on this day have increased significantly.

A total of 19.81 million 591 shares worth Rs 4 billion 344.92 million 73 thousand 5 hundred 93 thousand rupees were traded on the day.

The stock prices of 116 companies fell on the day. Seventy-one companies’ share prices have risen, while six companies’ share prices have remained stable.

CYC Nepal Microfinance, Nyadi Group Power, Samling Power, Salt Trading, and Bishal Bazar Company are among the companies that have seen the greatest price increases on this day.
