Only 20 MPs are present in the 58-member Gandaki State Assembly

POKHARA: The Gandaki State Assembly meeting, which had been postponed following the budget speech on June 15, has now resumed.

The budget debate was halted by the government after the constituency infrastructure development program was not included in the budget.

The meeting, which began after a long delay, did not even reach quorum.

The meeting includes seven opposition MPs and 13 ruling party MPs. There are only 12 ministers in the government. There were not all of the ministers present.
