DIG Ram Dutta Joshi has been appointed as the Chief of the Gandaki State Police.
KATHMANDU: There have been 17 promotions from the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Sudip Giri has been assigned the position of the police chief of State 1 as a result of the posting decision. Prior to his promotion, he worked at Kathmandu’s Metropolitan Police Complex. Similarly, Shyam Gyawali has been assigned to the Cyber Bureau.
DIG Ram Dutta Joshi has been appointed as the Chief of the Gandaki State Police. Durga Singh was assigned to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).
Basanta Kunwar, Tek Prasad Rai, Ashok Singh, Deepak Thapa, Shyamlal Gyawali, Kiran Bajracharya, Sandeep Bhandari, Sudip Giri, Mira Chaudhary, Tek Bahadur Tamang, Umesh Raj Joshi, Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Ram Dutta Joshi, Poshraj Pokhrel, Buddhiraj Gurung, Durga Singh and Kiran Rana.
The Council of Ministers unanimously decided to promote them on July 1st.
