Body of a young woman found dead in KMC been raised

KATHMANDU: The family of Rama Rayamajhi, 21, of Kavre Timal and the management of KMC School in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, have struck a settlement.

After the management agreed to pay Rs 800,000 to Rayamajhi’s family, who was found dead at the dormitory, the body will be recovered.

On Saturday night, Rayamajhi’s body was found hanging in a hostel room; however, as her relatives objected, her body could not be recovered.

The school administration decided to give the girl’s family Rs 800,000 during the day-long meeting on Sunday, and they also agreed to pick up the body.
