Nepal reports 53 new cases of COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Fifty-three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Of the 1,162 PCR tests conducted across the country, 39 COVID-19 infections were confirmed in 39 cases and 14 in 958 antigen tests.

No COVID-related deaths were reported on Sunday, according to the health ministry.

Similarly, with the recent recovery of 20 people in Nepal, a total of 967,516 people have been cured.

There are currently 333 active infected isolations in Nepal, according to the ministry.
