NEPSE increased by 57 points, a high increase in the transaction amount

KATHMANDU: The stock market rose significantly on Sunday, the first day of the week. On this day, the NEPSE index of the stock market increased by 57.61 points to 2086.38 points. The Sensitive Index, which tracks trading activity in Class A companies, increased by 10.22 points to 398.84.
Thirteen group sub-indicators have turned green today.

A total of 62,27,692 shares worth Rs 2 billion 488 million 4 lakh 73 thousand 9 hundred 98 rupees have been bought and sold on this day. The transaction amount has increased by nearly Rs 1 billion in a market where one billion shares are normally traded.
Shares of Salt Trading, Himalayan Power Partner, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower, Sanjen Hydropower Company, and NESDO MFI have risen the most on this day.
