21-year-old girl found dead in hostel of KMC School

KATHMANDU: An employee of Kathmandu’s KMC Hostel in Buddhanagar was found dead. Last night, Rama Rayamajhi, 21, of Kavre, was found dead.

A team led by Kathmandu SP Dinesh Raj Mainali and forensic doctor Gopal Chaudhary reached the scene. After seeing Rama hanging in the hostel, the students called the police.

Her body is at the scene. “She was found dead in a hostel room on the school’s ground floor,” said SP Mainali. The incident is being looked into.

For the past five years, the girl has worked in the school canteen. According to family members, she worked from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the same hostel.
