KATHMANDU: Two of the three people buried in the landslide have been found dead in Panchthar. On Friday night, a landslide buried their house and cowshed in Phalelung Gaonpalika Ward No. 7 of the district, killing three members of the same family.

According to Panchthar Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Rakesh Thapa, the bodies of two of the missing have been discovered. Ruplal Magar’s body was found, but another has yet to be identified.

The house of Dal Prasad Magar, 71, was swept away by a landslide last night, according to the District Police Office in Panchthar. Her 42-year-old son Ruplal Magar, 38-year-old daughter-in-law Goma Magar, and 19-year-old niece Alisa Magar were all missing when the landslide swept away their home.
