KATHMANDU: The stock market rose sharply on Thursday, the fifth trading day of the week. On this day, the NEPSE index has increased by 74.93 points and reached 2037.64 points.
The Sensitive Index rose 12.63 points, the Float Index rose 5.22 points and the Sensitive Float Index rose 4.71 points.
A total of 72.54 million shares of 227 companies worth Rs 2 billion 455.86 million 19 thousand rupees have been bought and sold on this day.
Only 1.43 billion shares were traded on Wednesday.
With the rise in Nepse high, the price of six stocks has traded at a positive circuit level. Shares of Nepal Finance, Malung Khola Hydropower Company, Nyadi Hydropower, Andhikhola Microfinance, CYC Microfinance and Suryodaya Microfinance have risen 10 percent on this day.
On this day, the index of all 13 subgroups has increased.
