One killed in truck crash

BIRATNAGAR: One person has died in a truck crash in Jhapa. A person has died after being hit by a truck at Chulachuli turn of Kamal Rural Municipality-4 in Jhapa.

At around 11 p.m., a truck (Na 7 Kha 8735) traveling east to west and a motorcycle (State 1-01-012 Pa 1453) traveling west to east collided head-on.

According to the Damak Area Police Office, the deceased Deepak Nepal, 38, of Damak Municipality-9 has died at Damak Hospital while undergoing treatment.
