KATHMANDU: The impact of monsoon winds has grown in Nepal. Meteorologists say that there will be rain in many parts of the country today as a result of monsoon winds.
Even today, light to moderate rain is expected in some areas of other states’ hilly terrain, including State 1. Most of the hilly terrain and a small portion of the rest of the country may experience light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning.
Heavy rain is possible in one or two areas of State-1 and Gandaki. There is a risk of landslides and gegran drift in the states’ hilly areas due to the possibility of heavy rains. According to the Weather Forecast Division, the water level in rivers and streams may rise, and daily life/transportation may be impacted.
Similarly, it is expected that cloud cover will range from normal to complete across the country on Tuesday. In many parts of the country, light to moderate rain is possible. Heavy rain is possible in one or two areas of State 1, including Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Far-Western.
